Houston has a relatively petite logo; needs to change.

Seems like we open up the season against the Lakers quite often.

I doubt this is the real opening day matchups. Plus, not all teams play their first game on the same day.

I wouldn't be surprised if LAC opens at GSW on opening night.

And NYK at CLE as well.

I could see TNT wanting that opening night double header.

It says "example for presentation" - don't think this is a leak.

There is no way that the NBA Champion Cavs open the NBA season against the Brooklyn Nets. The NBA and TNT will want something hot that will bring in ratings.

    NYK at CLE
    LAC at GSW

That is my double header prediction.

Theres always 3 games on opening night this so pic on twitter has
    Min @gsw
    Brk@ cle
    Cha @ atl

Nba wants to back load their games because they lose alot of their audience to NFL early on. They like to play their best games after feb. u will automatically get ratings if u have gsw and cleveland playing.

No, the Evan who is in charge of the NBA schedule showed a similar presentation before -- they only use example schedules.

Schedule leak... Rockets play every team at least twice and many others up to 4 times.

Are you just making stuff up now? Back-loading schedules?

In a league/sport where nearly every conference team plays the exact same schedule, there is absolutely no need (and really no logistical way) to back-load a schedule.

There will be a "marquee" matchup every night... and I guarantee you it will be better than Brooklyn vs. Cleveland, followed by Minnesota vs. GSW.

It would be cool to see all back-loaded schedules... and have the Warriors have a month from hell where they get to play the Cavs twice, all 4 games with the Spurs, all 4 games with OKC, and 2 out of the 4 with Houston (because its not a big enough matchup to get all 4 backloaded).

that is a really cool glimpse into some software showing a mock schedule.
i don't think the season would ever start on the 26th.

opening night will be friday the 28th and the full slate on saturday the 29th

Last season started on a Tuesday with three games and a full slate of games on Wednesday.

It says example presentation. I don't think it's the real deal.

The season typically starts on a Tuesday for tnt doubleheader followed by Wednesday's ESPN double.
