I can't find a single dislike for this guy, nowhere to be found. Man I really like this guy, and I usually have a 6th sense for players....
Huge move for the family to move out to Houston as well, would be an interesting situation if he was traded after the family moved out here.
I wonder why people always question a blog entry or statement from a player that isn't PR spin or damage control. it's an innocent, interesting testimonial from a kid who's barely been on his own in the real world.
Does Jeremy Lam's father ever miss an opportunity to use his kid to pimp his "America's Character Coach" business? He was wearing an "America's Character Coach" baseball cap on draft night sitting with Jeremy.
That part about not running hardly makes any grammatical sense. I wouldn't draw conclusions about something that's not even clear in what happened.
That piece on practice doesn't sound good. What I can gather is Lamb decided he did not want to run, plain and simple. Jones was obviously pissed and shouted he thought they were family and Lamb came up with the excuse that he was pulling for him to do beat out the other rookies. So much for all that toughness that he learned from his father, I think Jeremy deep down doesn't really want a coach to be on him too much. The warning signs of this turning bad quickly are there, especially if an assistant coach has to yell this: Lamb was all talk before when he said he was about playing defense, working hard and everything. It seems like he thought he was guaranteed playing time and now that he sees others have beat him to the spot, he's not putting in the extra work. Such a shame, I really see T-mac written all over him in these pre-season games and practices.
He was probably having problems with the bunion. Maybe that's why be didn't do the extra running. The coach did say he would make it up tomorrow.
If we get anything remotely close to T-mac out of him, it will be one of the best picks in Rocket history.
It sounds like Lamb's own writing for me. A Rockets FO staff member should be able to use more sophisticated English than this.
