Thanks for posting. I liked that he was vocal on the court. Hopefully he turns into something special, unless of course, if he's traded.
This is a small sample size of it, but hopefully this video can somewhat debunk the rumors that he's not gonna be a leader because he's too quiet, and that he doesn't want to play defense.
Leadership is spelled E-X-A-M-P-L-E I think being an "outspoken" leader is a bit over rated - action still speaks louder than words. And I do hope that Jeremy takes the role - because we already know the Lin's going to be a leader, and Lamb can easily take the roll of his running buddy - we're gonna have a pretty nice lookin backcourt - as long as Lamb isnt traded.
Seems like he has a head for the game. Can't wait to see him in more NBA game situations. Looks to be a solid player, with a very high side. How high can he reach?
Greene was not a high draft pick. He was a flash in the pan for a few days, and turnout to be the type of player one drafts with the 28th pick.
let me see: Allstar talent ...check barely 20 years old ...check High-character guy from a good family ...check knows how to play without the ball ...check NBA ready ...check = Rockets' building block
at the end of this past season, all i could do was lament the fact that we badly needed to rebuild, that we should have started rebuilding the year before, and that any rebuild we start now, would take a long time. A few months later, Morey purged our team of the vets and created a lot of cap-room, aquired numerous future draft picks, and drafted some very talented players. Never would i have believed that we would have already aquired a franchise/building block player this soon into our rebuilding process, but that's exactly what we've got in Lamb. Dare i say that he's probably our single best asset from a pure basketball standpoint. Lamb is someone you can build with. If any one of Jones, White, or DMo turns out to be as good as their potential, we could conceivably have two franchise/building block players on our roster, just one year removed from the mediocrity treadmill. This is very impressive work on Morey and our scouting department's part. very pleased with where we are ....
A coach's son? That's great. I wonder how many times Mchale rubbed T-will's shoulders like that and said good job?
