I hope they do this right. Cool story. Hugh Jackman Appears To Confirm OLD MAN LOGAN As The Next WOLVERINE Movie http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/JoshWildingNewsAndReviews/news/?a=122735 Hugh Jackman appropriately kicked off the X-Men portion of Fox's Marvel panel, confirming (again) that the next Wolverine movie will be his last, and seemingly revealing that the James Mangold helmed release is going to be based on Mark Millar and Steve McNiven's Old Man Logan... "I've got three words for you guys: Old Man Logan," Hugh Jackman told the packed out Hall H panel for 20th Century Fox's upcoming Marvel slate last night. Does that mean his third and final Wolverine movie is going to adapt that critically acclaimed comic book story? Maybe! Some major alterations will need to be made, but it does sound like the plan is to head in that direction. The actor followed that comment up by saying, "As I promised, this next time is my last time putting on the claws, it's one last time," as the image you see below appeared behind him (it seems to be a promotional shot from a previous movie starring the character rather than a teaser image specifically shot for The Wolverine sequel). What are you hoping to see in the movie?
I don't know how they could possibly do it justice. They're limited to only having X-Men and Fantastic 4 characters. Old Man Logan is about a future where all the villains joined together and took out all of the heroes and then divided up the country.
Yet, Hollywood continues to ignore one of the biggest, most influential comics of all times. ALL TIMES. Spoiler
Holy crap! Can't believe this is happening! I've always wanted this. Although I don't know how they do it without Hawkeye and even more so, Hulk. Old Man Logan is great. Read it if you can.
Cool Jim Lee character, but all his storylines were pretty boring. They could definitely just stick him in this movie though as a random villain to fight.
