MDA is 5-15 vs Pop in NBA Playoffs now (27-22 vs others)

    32-37 overall, but:

    2-4
    1-4
    0-4
    2-3

    ... in four series vs Spurs. Even if you decide to take away that sweep with Kobe-less Lakers, it's still very-very-very bad record.

    27-22 vs other coaches.


    It's safe to say that now we all do know the reason behind the numbers. Pop just won a decisive game basically with Eastern Conference non-playoff 5-man team on the floor in clutch time vs Rockets

    Over the past 20 years, most teams in the Western Conference have had their playoff runs ended by the Spurs. So... I'm pretty sure that most coaches in the Western Conference have a terrible playoff record against Popovich.

    Pop had 2 all-stars and a top 10 or 20 all time player in Duncan. Dantoni had Steve Nash and a collection of role players.

    If you ranked the players in all these pop vs. pringles series, how many times does pop have 3 of the 4 best players? Probably all of them.
