Our decisive series win against the Mavericks was satisfying

Our comeback victory against the Clippers was euphoric

It is easy to be happy with the way this playoff run has turned out and I've seen where people are starting to say things to the tone of "it was fun while it lasted" but it isn't over yet.

As a matter of fact it has just begun. I want people to remember that every west team wanted to face either the Rockets or the Mavericks. They made threads and facebook statuses with Rockets and guns aimed at it. I think the popular statement right now going around is "Rockets are f***ed"

Let's not be satisfied yet. Dwight is hungry. Harden isn't satisfied. Josh Smith wants to taste a championship. If this team isn't satisfied then we as fans shouldn't be satisfied. Be proud of your team but understand that.

    We. Are not done yet.

Was impressed at the muted celebrations after game 7, the Rockets had the "we ain't done nothing yet" look about them.

Dwight Howard looked like he couldn't hold back his excitement. I bet that locker room was BUMPING though.

Winning is contagious. After beating Phoenix three times in a row in 1995, the Classic Rockets didn't want to stop. They went into San Antonio, up against a 60-win team, and dominated them with the momentum they had and Hakeem's indignation at having another center named MVP over him.

It's eerie how similar things are now. Three straight wins, some indignation on the part of our slighted MVP...the ingredients are all there. Buckle your seatbelts folks, because Clutch City is a go.

I think the Rockets learned a valuable lesson from the Clippers series. They know if they play flat at any moment the other teams will pounce and go for the throat. They will come out with the mentality that they lacked in Games 1,3,4 in the Clippers series.

Memphis showed that interior play can beat Golden State, only for Memphis they had no 3 point shooter and lacked a MVP candidate.

The Warriors are beatable, contrary to everything being said. It will be a long series filled with highs and lows. Let's trust that we experience the high at the end.

This point cannot be emphasized nearly enough. We're only half way there and tougher times are just ahead.

Keeping my fingers crossed that we're in the right head-space throughout the next series and hopefully beyond.

Complacency would be thinking the NBA would consider this more than a fluke.
