He just got suspended for the rest of the playoffs and becomes a restricted free agent after this season. I don't think washington is going to pick him back up. I think the rox should seriously consider him. If you've ever watched him play(in the limited minutes he has) his game is a LOT like Jermaine Oneals. He has a lot of untapped talent if you ask me. I think he just needs to be in a situation where he can start. Playing behind Etan Thomas and Brendan Haywood has to eat up a lot of minutes for him. And who else better than Van Gundy to whip him into shape?
He has some raw talent but his head seems to in the wrong place. I dont want another trouble maker on this team (like Griffen). We dont need any distractions next year. If the Rockets do decide to go after him I hope it is for a 1 or 2 year deal and not a 4/5 year deal (I doubt they do though). Getting Chandler/Swift/Marshall/SAR should be the top priority for the Rockets and in that order.
