I just doubt Kobe returns before the ASG. Lakes haven't had this much bad karma since the fateful day Magic left the building (for the first time, that is).

Wow. As a female I never liked Kobe the person, but I have lots of respect for him as a player and for his achievement.

    Sad thing for basketball.

I actually hope the end takes quite a while. I don't have any incentive or hope to see the Laker's relevant for some time.

He probably hurt it throwing Pau under the bus.

When Mitch Kupchak added Dwight and Nash to Kobe and Pau just a year ago, he was a lock for Executive of the Year. Since then, age, injuries and free agency have turned that franchise into ash. You wouldn't think so, but sometimes there can be a fine line between contention and the lottery.

They'll be relevant again when Westbrook and Love get there.

Good thing they got him locked in.

But in all seriousness, that sucks for Kobe. Hate to see it. Get well soon.

Knowing Kobe, he'll be back before anyone knows it.

Seriously, he should rest longer. He'll feel all those aches and pains all the more when he grows old and retires.

I suspected he'd never come back healthy and playing at the level he was playing at before the injury. You can't beat Father Time.
