The timing now kinda makes sense.

Jimmy will meet with Miami, tell them they are his preferred destination, and give them a few days to get a deal done.

If they can’t, he will meet with Houston. That kind of explains why Houston’s scheduled meeting with him is an ambiguous “early in the week”.

I don’t think this is dead. His preference was Miami, and I’m guessing all parties knew this.

I think that's a good thing. Either run it back or bug splash once more pieces fall

Is Riley still bitter about 1994? Why always **** blocking the Rockets?

Don’t like when teams give what they want to players leaving. I would tell jimmy ... go f yourself and him signing a low deal.

Why is everyone acting like Jimmy Butler is a draw for other players the way LeBron is in LA?? Butler has NEVER drawn other players. Nobody is going to play in Miami because they can team up with Jimmy..... they go to Miami because Pat Riley is the king of selling that lifestyle to these guys.

I take that as he wants his money and no expectations of winning.

I didnt say Jimmy is the reason. LeBron isnt too. Superstars would go there eventualy. Lakers is super easy to choose... iconic identification(logo, jerseys, colors, font, arena). City. History of greatest players ever. Magic Johnson tampering. LeBron was just the first domino

Players might not want to go strictly because of Jimmy, but he definitely makes Miami even more attractive.

People are believing that Miami Tweeter way too much.

Rockets can offer the much more appealing package to the Sixers. And if Butler wants to get the most money possible, that is what matters.

Butler is a piece of ****. I wish him a terrible career. He clearly doesn't deserve to win if he all he cares about is lifestyle and money. F*ck that lazy dude.

Didn't this happen to Mello? Like he wanted to come to Houston but Houston's package wasn't enough and NYC wouldn't budge untill melo did and went to OKC?

Going to miami is the equivalent of taking foot off the gas.

This guy is all nails and badassery and yet he is taking it easy.
I dont blame him and miami is better than tomball no doubt but this looks like take the easy road jimmy buckets
