not sure if this was posted before but lin is 4th in assists so far in the pre-season.

    http://www.nba.com/rockets/news/news-and-notes-training-camp-20

"With all that having been said, it’s at least mildly noteworthy to see Jeremy Lin sitting 4th overall in the NBA in terms of assists per 48 minutes among players who have averaged at least 20 minutes per game so far. While the 24-year-old point guard has struggled in terms of generating his own offense, he’s certainly had no such issues getting his teammates going. Lin is averaging 12.6 assists per 48 minutes through five games and doing so while having cut down on his turnover rate from last season."

Lin will get better after he gets back to the NBA regular season shape.

The preseason game win with Lin is 3-1, but do not over-analyze the preseason game as it is just an exhibition game and there is no point getting injured by trying too hard

Jeremy Lin's also leading the league in steals per opportunity.

OT Omer Asik leading the league in rebounds.

I think you're right. This is exactly what he was doing against the Spurs. Snake in the grass. I mean he did go to Harvard.

I definitely care. Id hope we didnt let two VERY good point guards go for a possible bust. If Lin doesn't pick it up Rockets management might need a shake up

First of all, they didn't let go of anyone FOR Lin. KLow and Goran were dealt or lost before in a separate manner altogether. Morey just went to Option B and found the best prospect available. The Rockets were very lucky to have signed Lin and was in fact quite certain that the Knicks would match when they signed Lin. We could've very easily ended up with Douglas as our starting point guard meaning no offensive flow or floor general whatsoever OR with Machado with no defensive presence up top. Lin provides us the floor general we desperatrly need with good defensive disruptive ability which is what this team is going to make a name on. Whether management could've kept Klow or Goran is another issue altogether.

I've seen enough glimpses in the preseason to feel good about the offense and defense of this unit and if Lin could provide scoring as well, well, it's gonna be a fun season full of promise. We shall just have to see.

Agreed! Otherwise Lin would stay in Knicks with lower pay, but a lot more endorsement deals.
