I have a strong premonition: EG will usher in a violent gush in G7

    According to my research on the ups and downs of EG's competitive state in the past four years, when his shooting hand continues to be bad for a period of time, he always ushers in a burst period, which gives me the feeling that all the bricks he has thrown before is just to accumulate lucky value.

    Then I took a look at the statistics. In the last 15 games, EG had a 3-point shooting rate of 50% in only one game (including the last nine regular season games). The remaining 14 games did not even exceed 40% at one time. Most of the time, it was 20% - 30% of the three-point shooting rate.According to the law of EG in the past and my strong intuition, I think EG will enter "EG--zone" at G7,I predict he'll get 37 points, 7/11 3-pointer,he will be the key to our G7 victory.

    Brilliant ! When EG is missing he's just accumulating good luck hahaha.

    MDA actually a coaching genius , was trying to save it for lakers series .. or perhaps we dont even need it if we go up big . Maybe EG can help get us out to 40 point lead and then stay in and brick some more

    Not if he's shooting 4 feet behind the 3-point line.

    You just have to be smart and take good clean looks and not force it by taking 28-29 foot shots.

    Yes it's very possible that Gordon heats up from three. He's a very streaky shooter like most of the team. The problem with this though is one of the reasons why I've had doubts about the long term success of the Morey / D'Antoni system. Over an 82 game season you play the averages. Gordon is cold for 5 games, he heats up for 5 games and so on. Taking a lot of threes works even for a mediocre shooting team like the Rockets over the long run. The problem though is in the playoffs it's not the long run. If shooters are cold even for one quarter that could be it.

    people have been waiting for EG to play well for how long now. Meh. I no longer expect him to play well. He's just as unstable as any bench player yet gets all the minutes he can handle bc MDA loves him. His shot is completely broken and it's impacted the rest of his game.

    Lu Dort has shot better than he has. Let that sink in

    Well let's hope so, especially if MDA gonna play him 35 minutes

    He's been bad the entire season though.
