If this all goes down and us getting back Cp3, I see it as the Rockets are really high on Ball especially with Cp3 tutoring him to his full potential. Plus there are many reports of teams with great eyes for talent like Boston, Toronto, and Phoenix who are interested in trading up for Ball.

Not opposed to trading Harden (I think it's time to move on) but would like to get more future assets if we were to trade him.

And if we were to get the 1st pick, would like to swap that pick for more assets and players to pair with CP3, Richardson and Kat.

That trade proposal has me sad. Ship out Harden & Westbrook and you have CP3, KAT and the #1 pick in a SUPER WEAK draft? What kind of team is that? I'd rather keep Harden and tinker with the lineup. My Rockets enthusiasm would go WAY DOWN if they made that suggested trade.

 

If this were a great draft, I'd be more inclined to do so. However, KAT and bringing back CP3 doesn't intrigue me. I think we'd be worse and stuck with that horrible contract again.

I don't see us winning a championship with Harden. Not because of Harden, but because of all the horrible moves made. We are now hamstrung and I don't see any way to get better with our lack of assets, cap space, and draft picks.

Agreed. We'd spend years upon years trying to get another talent like James Harden.

You simply can't let him go unless you get an absurd package of assets.

At the end of the Lakers series when the clock ran out, Harden just looked mentally exhausted with the franchise. He didnt even looked like he could get up to go shake hands until Gordon came and helped get him up.

 

I'd give all the picks for the next 20 years to make that happen.

 

I don't want to lose Harden, but the only thing that would keep my excitement is if Ben Simmons was coming back. I could be convinced building around him. KAT and Embiid doesn;'t excite me.

In the end though, I would rather keep Harden.

 

Lol i was wrong there. But I said before to trade Harden for Luka in the draft a couple years ago. Don't tell me you wouldn't trade for Luka now
