    ???
League Pass broadband is a paid service. Who forces you to watch commercials, too?

When did this happen? This game? I don't recall this ever happening for years.

Not sure, but you pay for cable and sat as well but networks still choose to run commercials.

Doesn't Hulu Plus do this as well?
Looks like they are either desperate for cash grabs or desperate to make you pay for cord cuttings.

The networks and the cable companies are two different industries/companies. I don't get your point. That's like saying I pay for internet service, so why should websites have popup ads?

HBO and Showtime don't have commercials...and neither did NBA LPB, until now.

not the same. NBA owns the content. Hulu doesn't.

I've been having to turn AdBlock off to watch highlights on NBA.com. This started maybe a week ago. Super annoying.

I consider this bait and switch for them to start this mid-season without dropping the price for LP broadband, after years of no commercials. So next year are they going to have a price point for "Commercial Free Games"

Streaming along with NBA TV's increased coverage of the last 2 mins of close games has eliminated the need to pay for League Pass.

not for me. I love the LP archives and ability to watch the game anytime.

are you saying the streaming sites allow you to watch anytime?

I tried ballstreams this season for a fraction of the cost of nbalp and love it.
Watch all of the seasons games anytime, choose your teams feed and the DVr option are great.

No. I never viewed archives when I paid for LP. When a sporting event is over, it becomes dead to me. To each his own.

LPB is a Flash streaming app. Adblock plus doesn't stop that. I have it and FF. Are you saying it stops this?

    hmmm commercials?

so, no blackouts, too, when the rockets are on TNT/ESPN?

All teams, all games, all-star weekend, Inside the NBA, playoffs, summer league, FIBA, about 90% of the time you can choose between the home or away feed (only once all season did I not get a Rox feed).

Unfortunately ESPN/TNT/NBATV games almost never have local feeds and there are rare hiccups in terms of buffering and lag

The only commercials are those from the actual broadcast

Pricing is based on length of membership

First, ballstreams is illegal. Don't be an idiot, don't eff with the NBA.

Second, on Xbox I don't have any ads.

Also, why don't they have an option to watch basketball games on your phone anymore?

The NBA is not going to do anything to anyone who watches Ballstreams. Which is an excellent service BTW. However they may have Ballstreams shut down so enjoy it while you can it's much better than league pass broadband and I've had both.

yep, I knew that. Just wanted to see who is doing it.

In fact, you ballstream people are probably the reason why NBA had to go to commercials...you damn pirates are screwing with us.

NBA should just buy them, and shut down NBALPB. It will save money vs going to court and versus DIY. NBA should just fire their IT team and hire ballstream. The DVR controls suck.
