This is because we try to win when trading instead of helping ourselves as we help others. If your goal is skull f#%k everyone then thing like this happen.
he would’ve been traded away for CP3 his presence would not have won us a title before 17-18 stop fcking crying
Every GM makes mistakes, correct, except you could make a title team with Morey's mistakes. Lowry/Dragic Harden/Lou Kawhi/Tucker Covington/Harrell Capela/Wood Butterfly affect, yada yada, I know. You draft Kawhi, and you likely never get Corey Brewer which turned into Sweet Lou. I get it. You probably never draft Capela either. But you just can't ignore how many mistakes Morey has made.
Cmon breh. 14 GMs passed on Kahwi ... and you can make a title team for every team in the league With “mistakes during the draft”
One guy is about to go to the nba finals the other is a scrub who is so bad that age 30 is out of the league and grandpa les wanted the scrub
Houston legend Dragic and target Butler are in the Finals. Houston legend Lowry won one before Harden and Westbrook last year.
THANK YOU FOR THIS. Let’s not forget attracting first round picks to get out of the Lin contract and ****in ty lawson
Not trying to dunk on Morey, but I had a similar thought. Either Lowry (I know the pick we acquired for him was used in the Harden trade) or Dragic would have likely been Harden's best running mate to date.
This has been a concern of mine as well. We give Lin a massive contract less than 12 months after he was released from our preseason squad? How can you have that significant of a 180 on a player's value after such a tiny sample size?
LOL Guess which team has had the most wins in NBA the last 5 seasons. In the last decade? Rockets fans are insanely delusional. https://www.foxsports.com/nba/gallery/every-nba-teams-10-year-record-ranked-from-30-to-1-031417 https://www.theringer.com/nba/2020/6/18/21293645/top-5-nba-teams-decade https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/28400794/triple-doubles-30-footers-all-stats-defined-nba-decade
Only Lebron James has had more wins than James Harden in the last decade. https://fadeawayworld.net/2020/01/02/top-10-nba-players-with-the-most-wins-of-the-decade/
If we are going to lament anything, it should not be Dragic leaving in what is now ancient history. Instead, it should be the dismantling of the 17-18 60+ win team, that was steps away from a champioship. We went from a bonafide powerhouse to Russell Westbrook in the blink of an eye...
