Amen to all of that....AND to get OJ Simpson off of the TV when Im trying to root for the Rockets. I didnt care if he was guilty or not; I just wanted him OFF of the big screen because the Rockets were on the tiny screen on the bottom corner.

I still remember game 7. My dad has always been an amazing man and father to me but that game brought us so close together. Definitely a bonding moment that I wouldnt trade for 10 million dollars. I had never felt so close to him as when the confetti fell from the rafters and Hakeem is high-fiveing Otis Thorpe.

Most of the idiots on this forum will never get this; nor should they ever be allowed to. This just isnt about the Houston Rockets and its not about entertainment. Its about the moments and memories that were made when this great team came together and did something special. People want to downplay this, the media wants to put us down. Thats fine. What those fools can NEVER DO is take away that moment my father and I shared and will always have.

I'm gonna be honest... I get tired of talking about the championships from over 20 years ago.

 

It is indeed the reason for everything. 5 stars from me for this thread. We are here because of Clutch City.

 

Yeah. I was 17 and in high school when we won those championships over 21 years ago. I manage my own business and we employ a bunch of people in their young 20s. Most couldn't tell you who Hakeem Olajuwon or Clyde Drexler were. Those were awesome times for sure, but I personally get tired of coming on this board and realizing when was the last time we won anything. That's just me personally though. So reminiscent away Rockets fan. Because we have been an embarrassment for over two decades now and I don't see that changing any time soon.
