Anyone else heard about this? I've not heard about this anywhere, if anyone has any info about this topic, please let us know.

Bobcats president Michael Jordan has until the end of February to match an offer to purchase the team, sources told ESPN The Magazine's Ric Bucher.
Charlotte owner Robert Johnson has been trying to sell the team and former Houston president/CEO George Postolos has made a new offer for the franchise. Jordan negotiated a right of first refusal after Johnson made it clear he intended to sell the Bobcats, according to a team source.
A source close to the situation said that Postolos does not plan to retain Jordan or his staff if he is successful in purchasing the Bobcats.

You may have posted this in the wrong forum seeing that Postolos hasn't been President/CEO of the Rockets since 2006 and the Bobcats are in Charlotte, therefore no connection to the Rockets roster or orginization.

Yes move to the Dish but this first :) :

[rqouter]The ownership bid of George Postolos in Charlotte promises a massive overhaul of the organization, and league sources expect that should the former Houston Rockets president take over the franchise two of his top candidates for general manager will be San Antonio Spurs assistant GM Dennis Lindsey and Rockets assistant GM Sam Hinkie.

Should Postolos take over, several league executives wonder whether Bobcats coach Larry Brown would use the ownership change as a way to free himself for a possible return to the Philadelphia 76ers. No one is sure about the fates of Sixers GM Ed Stefanski and coach Eddie Jordan should the team continue to struggle, but Brown has kept a good relationship with owner Ed Snider and his family is still living in Philly during the season.

League executives say between now and then Brown is determined to move point guard D.J. Augustin(notes) for a veteran big man. Michael Jordan and Rod Higgins wanted to draft Brook Lopez(notes) with the ninth pick in 2008, but Brown demanded they pass on the center for Augustin. Bobcats management had gone so far to tell Lopez’s agents they were picking him.[/rquoter]

Lindsey and Hinkie worked under two of the leagues best gms for several years, it would be an absolute STEAL if the Bobcats could snatch either of them. Lindsey worked here in Houston for 11 years prior to his Spurs stint and Morey praised the guy when he left the front office. Hinkie advises Morey on transactions and finances.

When George left the Rockets, it looks like he went to form this - http://postolosgroup.com/ and has been trying to participate as a broker and/or equity interest in bids on sports franchises. If I remember correctly he was part of a bidding group on another deal that didn't happen - some team in the pacific northwest.
