How are those backwards? Right shoulder matches up with right shoe... There is no correct direction...just depends on which direction is "forward".
i was thinking superhero outfit, there should be a red cape attached... i like th enike jerseys tho.. i think they'll get better each year with suttle changes to accommodate team designs..
well nikes logo is it makes sense to reverse it on shoes, not on the jersey, reeboks logo wasnt reversed on the right side..
Why would it make sense to do it on the shoe and not on the right shoulder? You have the swooshes moving "forward", both pointing in the same direction. I dont see the distinction...where its okay for the shoe, but the shoulder should be the other way. Then, you have two of the same logo pointing in different directions, which would look terrible. Reebok and Nike have different logos. The Nike logo has a tail...so it doesnt make sense to have the tail pointing "forward".
Has anyone bought the replicas offered? I'm taking mine back because i can't move my arms for ****. And no it's not a size too small...been a while since i bought a jersey, have they always fit like that?? I think it's nike's new fitted design...
because on shoes, the swoosh is part of the design, on the jersey its just a brand logo, it looks awkward. it doesnt need to be facing forward, its a stamp to say "hey, nike made this"...
I checked out the new Nike jerseys, and tried one on. I immediately, didn't like it. Pretty much the same thing you said, it just fits weird. Its like wearing a smedium t-shirt, lol. I'm gonna just get the old Reebok authentic jerseys while there are still around, and cheap. I just need a Battle Red Dre jersey, to complete my collection I already have the white, which is my favorite jersey I own, and the blue one. I wouldn't mind getting all three colors of the Reebok Foster, Cushing, and Watt jerseys also.
Okay folks, this is the real reason why. It looks backward, but think of it as a flag. It's suppose to be "moving forward"
Nike really screwed us with that collar design. Almost every other team got cool little tweaks, but we got jobbed.
I think the other teams' collars employ some new technology that Nike was trying to instill in their new designs, but the Texans were the only team to reject it, thus why the collar looks the way it does. That's what I remember reading in the Nike jerseys thread, anyway. If that is the case, however, then Nike didn't really "job" us; we purposefully declined the alternative and went with all there was left.
Nah. Texans didn't want the fly-wire collar. Glad they didn't. Blue on the collar would have looked awfully ****ty.
It's kinda like the soccer teams like Uruguay with flair that have the polo-type collar. . . we cool like that
It's not the color that bothers me, it's the thickness of the collar. It looks really similar to an asian knockoff version from years past.
The thick collar looks horrible! If it's too late to change it, well then, that sucks... I've heard the Texans didn't want blue in the new collar but why can't it be done all red? At the end of the day it's just a uniform but the collar does not look good.
the flywire cuts off the front part of the collar, so it cant be one continuous color and it stands out more on teams with a two-tone collar like the texans. the texans wanted to keep the solid red collar so they chose not to use the flywire.. this is what the uniform would have looked like with the flywire...
