No. His contract will just run out and GM Bill will have a talk with Coach Bill and they will mutually decide to step away from coaching for less pressure. However, GM Bill will keep his salary the same by tricking Cal and adding some other title to his "responsibilities." GM Bill will bring in someone so bad it'll make us miss Coach Bill...which will please GM Bill.

BOB is going to be employed by the Texans for so long he will eventually just buy the team from the McNairs.

He's not going to get fired but damn, after watching the Arizona offense he should be. And its not about Hop, its Murray looking like a baller in his second year with his second year coach and Deshaun looking like a rook. Billy has hit his ceiling, he's not a championship coach, I hope I'm wrong

the lack of motion within this offense is frightening. the boring route combinations and lack of true layered passing is easy to defend. OBrien is not catching anyone off guard even with the new RB screens. Why not have DJ line up in the slot every so often? CREATE a mismatch, Get your guys moving presnap and help out Watson.

    NOPE.

this is OBrien saying "F you, its my ball."

the offensive line allowed pressure almost on half the passes! WTF is Devlin still doing around? This isnt some new advent, dude gets some blue chippers and its more of the same.

    this is a SYSTEMIC deficiency.

    team needs REAL football minds.

Though there was a time in 2017 briefly where rubroutes were seen more than once every 4 games.

Y'all are forgetting about the fact they actually ran a screen pass to a running back against KC. Baby steps.

Year 7 and we finally make a baby step?

I kinda agree it won't happen right away but by week 4 we need to be making significant progress.

I know "baby steps" was a joke

Just checking in to reiterate my prediction that this thread will reach about 350 pages before he is canned/resigns as HC.

great point! The NFL is a copycat league, and yet OBrien is always LAST to the party AFTER the DCs have already figured out how to defend the trendy play/alignment etc...

I think of Baby Shanahan and how he openly admits to watching other OCs and other successful offenses and "borrows" from what is working.

Here - it is SQUARE PEG meet ROUND HOLE.

    Its sad.

You do realize Kyler Murray running around like that is going to get hurt. That's why Watson doesn't do it anymore.

I'm talking about the pace that Kyler and the cardinals offense is playing at. That's the pace the texans offense should be at
