My favorite moment in Rockets History is when Mario Elie hit that clutch 3 pointer against the Suns in the playoff.

    Whats yours?

    All of them.

But, in most recent years... probably Novak burying the 3 to keep the streak alive.

Olajuwn tipping in Drexler's lay-up with 0.3 seconds to go in OT of game 1 against Orlando. I was ten and watching in the early morning in Taiwan and going crazy. Basketball in those days really was better than anything that has come since.

Has an MVP ever been personally dominated, on a one-on-one basis, in as impressive a manner as Hakeem destroyed Robinson? It was one guy - who happens to be the best professional athlete the city of Houston has ever seen - going out and saying "I don't care what the writers think, I don't care that we're an underdog, I don't care that we have to go on the road, my time isn't over, I am still the best, you can't stop me, you can't stop my team and you don't deserve that award."

Seriously, was there any doubt, by any true Rockets fans, that the team was going to win it all?

The below is from Game 5. Hakeem completely dominated this game. 19-30, 42 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists, 5 blocks. Robinson put up 22 and 12, but had zero assists and 7 turnovers. In truth, though, with the exception of Game 4, where they played evenly, Hakeem dominated the entire series.

This is the pinnacle play in Rockets history to me. The best player, on our best team, completely dominating the guy the league thought was better.

    Here's boxscores for that series:

If I had to pick just one -- probably the Maxwell 3-pointer in the 7th game of the 94 finals. That's the point where I knew we won the championship.

It's not. But you must either really despise McGrady or love Yao to favor Yao's Boston dunk (in a loss, by the way) over that miraculous San Antonio finish. Those type of dunks are a dime a dozen. Dwight Howard has one just about every game.
