feel bad for him, most likely he will be fired by the end of the season, not many interm coaches became head coach the next season.

he use to play good minutes until Sam showed up, then Scottie was traded in the 94-95 season cause Sam was so good.

he was nicked named the energizer bunny cause of his spark off the bench.

    good ole scottie brooks!

Woah, didn't even realize he was coaching. Only really knew him as our crappy white PG off the bench. Of course Sam came in and solidified that position.

He was an exceptionally strong guy for a guy his size, really muscled and had an effective shooting form (how awkward it might've looked :)). This guy helped us tremendously in 92-93 when Sleepy Floyd was not his former self and in 94-95 Sam took over. We've had some great PGs, until Sam got traded in 96-97 which was still the dumbest move ever. Now, we have an upcoming starting PG in Brooks and hopefully the future of PGs will start with him. The name says it all, Brooks' can ball :D

Great for Scott Brooks, let's see what he can do as a coach and hopefully for him he can stay one too.

P.S. What would you do so we could get a PG like Scott Brooks right now? I would trade away Hayes, Francis, Head, Alston and Dorsey in an instant.

I remember the day we traded him (to the mavs?)

It wasy funny, he had one of his best games as a rocket, close to 20 points I think.

Brooks the "4th quarter finisher" the year before Cassell arrived. Back when point guards shot a respectable percentage from the floor.

11th man from the championship team news >>> current Rocket in his Orlando days highlights...
