So you're quibbling about numbers? If Drose says he'll win multiple rings he's being confident, but if LBJ says he'll win multiple rings he's arrogant, a prick, douche etc. I don't even get the difference between something that's sponteneous and something that's rehearsed, they said the same thing didn't they?

At least LBJ WAS indeed statiscally the best player in the regular season the years he won MVP. Drose won his off hype, DH beat him in efficiency, raw stats, defense and of course, performance in the playoffs (hello 4% FG in the clutch).

Understand I'm not defending LBJ, but rather just pointing out the bias people have regarding him and rose. Its the same thing about Dwade and Kobe, Kobe will always be MJ's inferior shadow but Dwade is one of the best ever even if he can't touch Kobe.

If you can't see the difference between LeBron's pre-planned Oscar-winning performance on stage and Rose answering a question, it's your problem not mine.

Maybe you need to read a book to understand the difference between the two. Rose wouldn't have been caught dead prematurely celebrating with fans over multiple future championships. LeBron lapped it up like he was dying of thirst.

Didn't Barkley say something like that? Probably Ewing too.

It takes 5, sometimes these guys forget that.

James has more of a chance to win 7 as the D Rose winning more than 1

Mindset is one thing, expressing it out loud is another.

Just tell us you "killer instinct" lovers when did Jordan say he's confident he'll win X championships.

Roslolian is right. Your hate is blind. LBJ had the numbers to backup his talk. Rose only had hype and his coach/teammate's great defense to backup his mvp. Nothing is wrong with a player saying or doing anything as long as its not berating anyone and he backs it up. Neither rose or james backed up their statements yet but you think there's 'clearly' something worse about what lebron said or did. You're just nitpicking. James wade and bosh had a celebration for their city and gave fans a reason to celebrate... something any fan on any team would enjoy and want.

You're the one who is blind. I don't hate LeBron and was a HUGE fan of his until last summer. I have defended him left and right over the years and also blasted the blind haters who went over the top after "The Decision". I still think he is the best player in the NBA.

You who sit in knee-jerk judgement of people who criticize LeBron are just as warped as the kooky haters.

I'm not criticizing you for your hate of lebron or whatever you want to label your stance on him. I'm criticizing you when you say its ok for rose to predict multiple championships and think its asinine for lebron to do the same.

I'll say this again: If you can't see the difference between what LeBron did/said and what Rose said in response to an interview question, I can't help you. Just continue thinking I'm a "nitpicker".

Rose talked about MVP before the season, it happened. LBJ talked about 8 rings before he had one. Celebrated like a championship after winning ECSF., and played like a scrub in finals. Backup his talk? LOL

Who cares. NBA players aren't paid for their reasoning skills. Well, such things can help and can make a player better, to be sure. A player with incredible court vision, shooting touch, and quickness can have trouble doing algebra or read children books for I care.
