basically the dude will be underweight for a long long time. Instead of rice he needs to hit the steakhouse like daily.

Harden's too fat, Qi's too skinny, Melo is wearing hoodies on the beach. Fire the training staff.

A buck fifty.....but play him. Thon Maker probably weighs a buck forty-nine and gets some playing time.

Hello... adding strength is the key as I said not just putting on weight.

Have always thought a lot of injuries happen when put on extra bulk/muscle and the body cannot cope when needing to move at such an elite level. Most likely the joints ie the knees, ankles, feet etc

I'm guessing OP is a close friend or family member of Zhou Qi.

This depends on a variety of factors:
    - Upper or lower body gain
    - Functional strength and rep range manipulation
    - Flexibility and joint mobility
    - Balance and biomechanics

Look at two relatively similarly sized athletes:
    LeBron James and Jabari Parker

Notice how LeBron plants on the middle of his feet, he has good hip extension, and when he lands, even though it is an odd angle, he absorbs the impact with his hip.

Parker is a heel striker, runs very upright, and when he lands he tenses up his hips and lower back and absorbs contact with his quads/knees/shins.

Play Sarah Mclahlan "Angel" when he hits the court and people will still think 25 cents will feed that man a day!

We don't need him to work on his weight. We need him to keep pushing his advantage and work more on his length.

Stop comparing him to other skinny players. He isn't them and what makes them special doesn't make him special. He needs strenght to become rim protector. Just like Capela was trash until he got his physics right
