Why am I not super happy? It's draft day isn't it? And I was counting on this. I even got up early.;)

I honestly dont have a good feeling about this...I hope Im wrong.

I just feel that we're gonna end up with maybe one top 10 pick...and we'll end up drafting a few rookies. The real rebuilding will begin.

I am nervous as well. It is going to be a really great day are a really depressing day. I have faith in Morey to bring us a spectacular day. Even tho at first we might be WTF but after we assess the brilliance that is DM the GM, I will be like oh my goodness that did really just go down, YES! Because you know the actual trades will be nothing like the rumors as always (Those media fools can't figure that man out, HaHa.).

So we'll be happy one way or the other, meaning either Dwight+DWill or Drummond+Ross

i think Drummund is too risky at 5. second half of the lotto, yes, but #5 ...not feeling it. And all this Perry Jones talk is also making me nervous. What's the deal? We loading up on talented underachievers? I've seen this movie before: T-Will, Jordan Hill, Hasheem Thabust ...

We need to hit on this pick (if we get it). MKG or Barnes please!!!!!!!!!!!

The funny thing is, with the way the mocks are shaping up. If we can get two top 10 picks and somehow manage to keep at least the 18th pick, that is a pretty realistic possible draft haul.

For some reason I see a three-way trade between the Rockets, Hawks, and Lakers happening today.

    Lakers: Scola, #18
    Hawks: Gasol
    Rockets: J. Smith(boys with Howard)

I'd be OK with that even without Howard.

I don't love Josh Smith, but for Scola and 18 I'd be thrilled. I think the Lakers would want more than that for Gasol though. That makes them a worse team.

Lakers need luxury tax relief and a roster shake. They save $ with this deal and get Scola who might actually compliment Kobe and the emerging Bynum. Deal might need a little tweak but I think principals are sound.

Stern wants Dwight to go to the Nets, no need for the Rockets to fight with him again, h'ell win and we'll just get a "bone".

Makes more sense for the Lakers to trade Gasol straight up for Smith. Why would they rather Scola and #18?

Whoever Sac drafts, assuming we don't do a trade before then, is most likely the person we start our season. He may have his picture taken with a Kings cap, but I think he'll be wearing a Rockets jersey.
