Um, real Rockets fans. People who haven't jumped on the bandwagon recently for some player.

Do you ever find yourself asking, why am I on a Rockets fan site?

    I liked him here.

But then, I liked all of our coaches since Harris...w/Moses.

    TMac never faced Kobe in the playoffs. Was this too big to you to remember what happened? Or do you just post the first thing that comes to your mind? 2008-2009 is the year we beat Portland and lost to LA in the second round. TMac never saw the court in the playoffs. {Insert Insult}

Let the Rockets fans talk. This is about people who remember what Adelman teams were like.

Or were you referring to last year? TMac was with the Spurs and they faced the Lakers. Oh wait, Kobe was injured and TMac played 5 minutes and 15 seconds….

Had minimal talent, maximized results. That speaks volumes about his ability to coach, contrary to what many people said was "non-existant"

Thought he turned sour and was glad they dumped him.

The last three rockets coaches didn't leave on a happy note.

I gained an appreciation of him that I didn't have before, that's for sure.

The team had really learned his offense when he left. Sucky timing.

    Wish him success in Minnesota!

I thought Rick did a great job improving our players.

Hayes benefited a lot under Adelman, and became a tremendous high-post and outlet passer for this team.

He was probably too old school to understand and accept Morey's plans, but I think he would do a wonderful job with this current roster. Though, at the same time I think McHale has been doing a good job handling the tremendous amount of youth on this team.

The 22 win streak by it self should make the people answer yes.

Hell yes. They won 22 in a row and the following season would've been a legit threat to knock off the Lakers had Yao not gone down with an injury. And if they win that series, they probably win the title(c'mon, the Nuggets and Magic?). Rick did a great job with the hand he was dealt. You can't fault him for all of those injuries.

Now his tenures in Portland and Sactown. Those were situations where he maybe underachieved(in 1991 with the Blazers and 2002 with the Kings). Ironically both of those seasons he lost to the Lakers.

22 game winning streak was nice, but overall didn't like his tenure. Injuries really hurt and aren't the coach's fault but that's what I mostly think of.

Team played with heart and was a joy to watch. The late season collapses were not. Probably should of got at least one more playoff appearance in there. Got the most of out his role players.

He was OK. Just that, for me. Several issues I had with him:

    1) As already mentioned, you can't blame him for the injuries but it was infuriating to watch the porous defense. Well, you can't help it with Kevin Martin, Aaron Brooks, and Luis Scola as starters, I guess.

    2) I also would've liked to see more of Courtney Lee. I thought Lee would turn out to be more than just a backup. Well, Lee isn't a lot more now but I honestly think he got a bad development phase during his career as a pro. He was always playing limited minutes. He was incredibly efficient during his time with the Magic and the Nets, though. It's just too bad.

Anyway, more on the injuries, that season where we had Ron was also really disappointing. I mean, the 1st round victory and almost beating the Lakers was awesome but we should've been rolling through that season. Look at the roster we had:

    C - Yao, Hayes
    PF - Scola, Landry
    SF - Battier, Artest
    SG - McGrady
    PG - Brooks, Lowry

You can't get any deeper. We should've been raping teams.

Yes - he missed going to the 3rd and 4th round
