Come on... That logo is a classic, I have a t-shirt of it.

 

Those uniforms aren't even half as ugly as the jump hook he is about to attempt is going to look.

The Wizards is a stupid name. How many Wizards are there in DC?

Hence, the name change, especially since the NBA was eager not to be associated with the so-called thug culture (which is somewhat scapegoat). So they had to choose something that was more palatable, more Disney, family friendly, and kind of queer. So they choose a Wizard...

Now, when I go to Washington D.C., Merlin and Gandalf, don't necessarily come to mind. But, bullets, on the other hand, is already on display once walk enter the Arlington or the city limits.

Alright, we already know about high proportion of crime in Washington D.C., so that's given. But we also have the history of assassinations, the dead soliders, Department of Defense, gun ban laws, and etc. You can't help but think about guns and bullets in Washington...it is the land of guns.

The Hawks had some pretty ugly ass uniforms in the late 90s.

Horry didn't like it either and said he would have rather played naked. How he planned to not trip over the enormous balls he must be packing is anyone's guess.

 

Mighty Ducks and Ravens arent too too bad. Toronto's was acceptable for the times. Rockets one is TERRIBLE, top 3 for sure.

I miss the days when there were so many quack jerseys. Now, all the uniforms look the same. Hell, even the Lakers have WHITE home jerseys. What are we becoming as a society?
