Time to give DM some props. This team he's built has such depth that despite some major early-season obstacles:

1> Substantial injury time lost to 3 of our 5 starters

2> Another starter who got off to a horrid start

3> One of the most difficult schedules of any team in the league

    4> Locker room turmoil

... we're still over .600 and near the top 4 in the murderous Western Conference. He's also found a much-better version of Luther Head in Von Wafer. And on top of everything else, he's managed to keep us under the luxury tax.

Hats off to DM. To paraphrase Arthur, your team having a top-notch GM doesn't suck.

i think we need to give more credit to RA, after all, he is the one making the game plan with the players he had and he is making the most out of it.

I think the only bad trade he made was the Mike James one.

Look at what we've got since he become the GM.

    Ron Artest
    Brent Barry
    Carl Landry
    Aaron Brooks
    Von Wafer
    Luis Scola

Both deserve the credit. The amount of depth in this roster is quite remarkable -- we essentially have only one scrub and he's in the D-league. Pretty much every other player has been a valuable contributor to this team, and Morey deserves the credit for putting this roster together. Adelman also deserves some props for keeping the team together and winning this many games despite the schedule, and the myriad injury and chemistry problems that plagued them.

    bumpity bump bump

what a freaking genius. regardless of whether rockets win it all or not it's too late for the haters since game 6 is a defining win that no hater can take away. 3 of the 5 players that brought rockets back weren't even on the team this time last year.

People call in endlessly retooling? I calling it endlessly ruling your mom and whole family.

    Morey runs barter town.

    sorry haters but-
got brewer for peanuts and brewer keys our 4th quarter comeback. Key.. I mean freaking key piece.

got smith for peanuts and smith keys our 4th quarter comeback. Freaking key piece guys.

even terry was a cast off but morey saw what you feeble brais haters failed to see.

brings in mcsuccess, brings in harden and fleeces the so callest best gm.

    gets howard.

you analytics haters and morey haters just got b**** slapped.

Analytics got us in the position to get these guys and credit to morey to have the stones to execute this all.

many of you haters don't even deserve to be on the same planet as this god.

He is a living david, zeus.. call it what you will.

see what happens when we have a PF that can shoot ?!?! (can smith keep it up) but sky is the limit when other teams have to respect PF shot, spacing is so much better and we can make runs so easy and less work for harden and more room in lane

Yep. That's why Morey was willing to shake up his roster just for a chance to sign Chris Bosh.

Remember that Executive of the Year is a regular season award. What did Bob Myers do exactly?
