I like how three of his bullet points were offense. The thing we are awesome at. And the first one isn’t even accurate. Harden is among the league leaders in shot creation for teammates.

House will always be limited because he's not a fundamentally sound basketball player. He's not a great shooter, cannot really handle the ball, okay passer and inconsistent defense.

However that doesn't mean he can't be useful, he's very athletic, has good height and length, can run on fast breaks. He should model his game based on Ariza, focus on fundamentals on defense and learn to use his length and height, don't force shots or over dribble, shoot the 3 with confidence.

Ariza is a fundamentally flawed player too, he never learned how to dribble or create or even shoot consistently, but he played the perfect 3 and D anchor on a contender for years.

Man, House shows flashes of starting material some games and is just not good the next. That inconsistency is what's really hurting him (usually is the issue with any player trying to find their role). At the very least he's a great backup 3/4, and that honestly fits his salary. He's a high-energy athlete with decent size and range with some defensive ability. Some nights he has it, others he doesn't.

As of now... He's a solid rotation piece, inconsistent starter...

House doesnt have Ariza's physical tools 6'6 vs. 6'8 and 6'8 wingspan vs. 7'2 wingspan.

Ariza can also defend positions 1-4 and stretch 5's.

    Almost too optimistic.

McLemore was a no show as well to be fair.

House is a league average forward with small upside. He shoots 36.7% from 3 and his defense is passable. The problem is we don't have anyone better to give those minutes to.
