Full team of blazers can beat Lakers. They can matchup with Lakers in all positions. I think Houston should not lose to him to remain a threat in western semifinals.
Let's see if he can keep doing it when he's getting double-teamed all game with an inconsistent shooting team.
Oh, stop it. Lillard does this every season. He'll play unreal for about a month or 2 and be inconsistent in the rest. He's a bit like PG. Let's see what he does when he's getting double-teamed. Has Lilliard ever had to carry an average supporting cast to the playoffs pretty much every year?
Uh what? What a trash ass post and an even worse thought process. You should do all of us a favor and get the hell off this board.
Well People gotta tell you when you’re being an idiot as always. Bc you can’t see for yourself. Something told you to create a non rocket player thread in the GARM. And crying about something yet again. Boy something in your head clicked real nice
Real Gz ride 4 Deep ... cant worry bout this kinda stuff my guy. James already spoke on it. Its a popularity contest and the cool kids get to pick the teams. Its whatever. In the end only the true fans will remember the slander, while those same ignorant experts get to claim that they supported him all the while. You'll see.
To be honest, Lillard has earned his stripes with me. He is at his all time best, and I've always believed he would be the absolute perfect complimentary player to James Harden. I hope when that franchise realizes it's headed nowhere they consider trading him to us. He's better than a lot of these stars the media flouts (Tatum, young Doncic, Davis, George, Chris Paul). He's not Harden, of course. But good fo him.
Both are alphas, one has to take sort of a back seat to the other. Also I do not think Harden likes him that much to make it work.
Blazers is isolation heavy. Their 2nd star CJ has an injury. Opposing team started to double team Dame early, whereas Harden has seen it all year long. I suppose if we look deep enough there's some similarity. They're playing hard, but also against some of the teams that have secured their playoffs already. Blazers has to get the play-in spot and then beat the Lakers, to play us. ' If they played like this pre-covid, they wouldn't be in this situation. It's like the kid that procrastinated the science project until the last day.
Doesn't matter. Harden is clearly the better player, if put on the same team they will figure it out. All champions have multiple alphas, that's not a true reason why people don't win. When you have more alphas, it's harder to manage but the potential is higher. Some can do it (Phil Jackson, Steve Kerr), others can't.
