Was that actually supposed to show her being wronged and present her in a positive light? I fear for our future.

 

There's nothing wrong with someone trying to right a wrong or trying to use the system to get out of a ticket. Nothing at all. But this is just stupid. If you're going to take something this far...know what you are doing, be respectful, and speak like an adult.

Actually, there kind of is, unless there is a legitimate reason for your having committed the crime or I suppose if you live somewhere with just ridiculous penalties (my wife once had one for over $700 )

She probably couldve done better asking to spend a day in jail rather than asking for community service.

She should just not pay the ticket, get a warrant for her arrest, and spend the day in jail.
