The Gordon injury is tough, but it doesn't sound like he would miss playoff games. We looked sharp last night... Fresh legs make a huge difference.

They were playing the situation. Think about a "scrimmage" game worth nothing and I'm assuming Harden shot a great percentage last game. They thought Harden would be a chucking disaster this game due to their analysis of the regular season and had the game plan to go at Westbrook hard defensively while never deviating.

 

Hard to deliver when he literally hasn't had much support. Besides, he's had to play against one of the best teams of all time in most of the playoffs.

Harden's performances in the playoffs have been great for the most part. Yeah, he's had a few really bad games here and there, but he does generally turn up in the playoffs.

 

People forget during hardens so called “slump“ he was playing through an ankle and knee injuries earlier in the season .. A convenient fact that was left out by his haters. Now that he is healthy again why is everyone surprised about how good he looks?

 

Because they were trying to say it was because he needed Clint as a roll man. Apparently Clint, made James into a great player not the other way around lol

 

I thought I was going crazy but are they playing fake crowd cheers after some buckets? Only really noticed it when I watched the highlights.

 

That's good observations. To give them some rope, not sure if they are working with a skeleton crew coz of Rona. Or maybe, they treat scrimmage differently than the 'official restart' which is tomorrow. We'll see.

They still had the immediate highlights during mid game which is good. Sound mixing could be better.

EG has gained visible weight, I'm not surprised he's hurt out there on the court.

Maybe it's because he knew he was going to play as a makeshift SF that he gained that weight?

The hell? EG is an excellent player who also won 6MOTY with the franchise ... , I set the bar high for him.

The way he is, he wouldn't just gain weight for stupid reasons, like expecting the season to be canceled, etc.
