I just got a new cabinet for my guitar amplifier last week. For those who are familiar with instrument brands, it is a Mesa Boogie 4x12 Rectifier cabinet :).

For the heavy metal heads out there, let me know how many of the riffs you recognise!!

Using $5000.00 worth of equipment. A little overkill don't you think?

I saw this the other day and was amused. It's not exactly right on topic, so I hope nobody gets pissed.

Basically a bunch of metal songs played without distortion. They mostly end up sounding like surf music:

I heard a mix of Metallica, several slayer songs and maybe megadeth? I normally listen to metal while I work out so I don't pay too much attention to the song titles but it seems like we have similar taste. I wish I had time to pick up the guitar and play again. Good stuff. Your kind of like me in that you don't look the part but definitely like to rock out!

Lol, this is so bad. Surfer Version (w/o distortion) sort of worked (well not really but better than this, pretty much what I figured...). I think one of the metal bands featured should actually play in this key to see the reaction (for a song or so during a show), hahah.

PS metalshred, sounds great, man!! I used to play sax a lot but would trade that in for some metal, played for about 10 years unfortunately not recently. Haha, I can't play guitar too great, but have gotten somewhat decent at Bass guitar (nowhere near your skill though). Keep it up!

Awesome OP. I love metal but never dedicated myself to learning it like you have. Keep it up.

Also whole we're throwing out spoofish metal videos, this is the original and the best. Special cameo from Bob Odenkirk.

Haha it is possible for metal music to still be heavy undistorted, when played right :)

I can't save this one lol

Haha I only realised how much I like thrash after I recorded the video.

Haha the 'major key' version was just....bad!!!

    That was hilarious!

    Haven't heard this one before.
