I'm still waiting for those little ice cream sandwiches. Yummy! They're addictive.

[rquoter]BLUE BELL RECALLS ICE CREAM OVER LISTERIA CONCERNS

Blue Bell Ice Cream has issued a voluntary recall for its ice cream containing chocolate chip cookie dough pieces due to the potential for Listeria.

Blue Bell says the products were produced in its Sylacauga, Alabama plant and made with a chocolate chip cookie dough ingredient supplied by Aspen Hills, Inc.

The recall covers the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, both pint and half-gallon size, and Two Step products in the half-gallon size.

The ice cream produced with the chocolate chip cookie dough pieces were distributed in the following ten states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.

Consumers should not eat the recalled products and are encouraged to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.

But seriously, if you're a pregnant women, a toddler, or elderly man bluebell might prove to be too much of a risk..

So will B&J's. Even your soy, your produce, your whatever....it all has the potential to kill you.

Welcome to food, deal with it.

Those groups are at the highest risk for listeria related deaths.

B&Js are all chocolate derivatives. Very plain. And like triple the cost of Blue Bell.

No kidding. I've had 3 half gallons since it was released. It's probably the best at home ice cream I've ever had. I have no idea why it took so long to combine these 2 flavors and why I didn't think of it before. Pure deliciousness. Ben and Jerrys has never done anything this good. I haven't seen it in stores over the last few days, is it related to this? Hopefully it's not a limited run.

I'm jealous you guys have it. Bought it once and loved it, but haven't seen it since (other than the Ballpark in Arlington).

I just got that today since they didn't have 2 step. Not bad at all but it's no 2 step.
