Okay, I thought that I could win the AL West this year, but those damn Zapistas have the best record in the AL! I don't think that my team can get the wildcard. This has been very disappointing and frustrating to me because I have tried to build a team that could go to the playoffs now. That leads me to say this: a firesale is going to take place in Portland. I'm looking at trying to get younger and I need prospects. Hayes, thanks for the offer but the trade deadline has passed for this season. I might be interested in Stanton for next season, but then again he's a free agent. Speaking of which, you might want to track haven down in chat sometime soon. I noticed you have several, and pretty much the only way to sign them is in the chat room. Manny, same thing. Trade deadline has passed. Otherwise I would definitely have been interested.
Pudge Rodriguez is available for a replacement catcher and a young stud OF, SP, or 1B. The young guy has to be at least within a year of joining the big club, if not already.

Jason Isringhausen, one of two closers to make the AL All-Star team last season is available. Can be had for a first round draft pick, or possibly a 2nd + 3rd rounder. He's cheap at just over $4 million and has just been resigned to a fresh new 4 year deal.
