Jorge Posada is on the market, if I can get a good offer. All-star level catcher hitting .299/22/74. I'm looking for a good hitting prospect(s) and a replacement catcher.

    Nomar,
I just got your email. Yes, I will do that proposed trade - Hilliard for Garcia and Green. If you still want to do it, just post in the transaction thread and I'll confirm it later this evening.

To any teams wanting a boost for a playoff run, the time is now.

    Aj Burnett.
    Mike Sweeny.
    Carl Everett.
    Rich Garces.

These names, while they wont strike fear into your enemy, they will give your team that perfect 3 man playoff rotation, or that elite bullpen, or some offensive pop coming from the DH, or 1B, or CF. Everett can even provide some superb defense at centerfield.

to cash strapped teams, i also have 25 million dollars cash to add to any potential deal.

I am looking for prospects. a catcher and a 3rd baseman specifically.

Please contact me; the time for winning is now.

Bullpen's underperforming for me Nomar, but I don't see El Guapo and his 4.24 era as an improvement. Thanks anyway.

Sean Burroughs, anyone? Good-Avg-Fair-Good-Good 24 year old 3b. His actual ratings are already 6 6 2 6 6. I need these positions, in order of preference, and of course young: C, 1B, OF, 2B, MR, SP.

Okay, I thought that I could win the AL West this year, but those damn Zapistas have the best record in the AL! I don't think that my team can get the wildcard. This has been very disappointing and frustrating to me because I have tried to build a team that could go to the playoffs now.

That leads me to say this: a firesale is going to take place in Portland. I'm looking at trying to get younger and I need prospects. I prefer not to trade any of my existing prospects, but I am willing to listen to any offer. If interested, please email at jfyoung@charter.net.

    Zac, would you be interested in J Lopez (c) [ 87 319 92 22 0 17 65 53 32 54 .288 .359 .517]. He's not young but he should still have a good 5 years left...

    SamCassell,

Would you be interested in Mike Stanton for your bullpen. He is multifunctional (MR/CL) and has been performing extremely well for me. Let me know.

Hayes, thanks for the offer but the trade deadline has passed for this season. I might be interested in Stanton for next season, but then again he's a free agent.

Speaking of which, you might want to track haven down in chat sometime soon. I noticed you have several, and pretty much the only way to sign them is in the chat room.

Manny, same thing. Trade deadline has passed. Otherwise I would definitely have been interested.

He's an FA, can't be traded unless you sign him.

Pudge Rodriguez is available for a replacement catcher and a young stud OF, SP, or 1B. The young guy has to be at least within a year of joining the big club, if not already.

Red Sox still have quality players available for next season.

Rich Garces, AJ Burnett, Mike Sweeny, Carl Everett.

Can be had for cheap. Prospects/picks. I have boatloads of cash that can accompany any deal.

Jason Isringhausen, one of two closers to make the AL All-Star team last season is available. Can be had for a first round draft pick, or possibly a 2nd + 3rd rounder. He's cheap at just over $4 million and has just been resigned to a fresh new 4 year deal.

I'm curious Nomar, what would you want for Burnett?

I'm the Cards by the way.
