He did I heard it. On Inside the NBA, right after Draymond said Harden is being underrated despite crazy numbers.

UPDATE: Here is the segment and the quote "This guy here may be the greatest offensive player we've ever had" with Draymond Green (who has been teammates with Curry and Durant) sitting right there.

Do u mean if Durant just focused on threes and layups? No one else in the league is capable of doing Harden things being this dominant as both the primary scorer and team facilitator. Nobody has the handles, 1st step, timing, deceleration, shooting ability, passing ability, and basketball genius required to be as effective as Harden.

Certainly in the discussion for greatest offensive player ever, although I would caveat he is not the greatest scorer or shooter of all time, but "offensive player", quite possibly he is.

Harden IS the greatest scorer of all time.

Averages a point a minute, better than MJ, even better than Wilt.

But greatest scorer is too limiting.

Harden is more than just a scorer, his ability to get to FT and make FT plus to create wide open shots for his teammates and his passes that lead to scores is so understated.

He is the best offensive weapon ever in NBA.

    Durant does not like contact.

Harden thrives on it, so much so that he has turned scoring with contact into an artform.

Lol Durant body would break down in half a season if he took hardens punishment. Only LeBron in today’s game could survive what harden goes through with the physical punishment

I disagree. Just because someone has a skinny frame or otherwise doesn't look like LeBron, doesn't mean they're automatically made of glass. Sure, if Durant played like Iverson or Harden in his early Rockets days (constantly driving to the rim for his offense), there's more opportunity for injury because of the nature of the situation.

With the way Harden's game has changed, I think Durant could do what Harden does now.

Durant can't pass or run the point like Harden, even when he has 2 of the greatest shooters of all time around him.

MJ & KD are greatest offensive players. Don’t kid yourself into believing the latter couldn’t do this. Harden is great at what he does but the GOAT offensive player stuff is nothing but hot air

Durant can and has. The snake took the easy way out with GS but the guy is unguardavke at his height and is an amazing shooter. He picks his shots very carefully to maximize efficiency and FG%

Or if he could, he sure didn't do it.

And even with all his caution, Harden is still the most efficient scorer of all time.

He has, of course, never been a better passer than Harden. I have zero interest in wasting a second even debating that.

He is an unguardable scorer too, yes.

Harden is the greatest offensive generator in the history of the NBA. No debate. Greatest scorer? Michael Jordan, Wilt Chamberlain, Kobe Bryant etc.

Harden is constantly getting double-teamed..... and he still drops 35 points plus a night. No other player would be able to cope with that amount of double-teaming. Not even Jordan got double-teamed like this.

    This is 100% recency bias.
