This is way too many steps ahead for me to even contemplate.

But yep, Miami is looking scary right now

Premature much? We gotta beat the 1 seed before we face the best team in the playoffs, the Clippers. Stay calm.

Rockets will have to go through whoever is in their way to the ring. OKC was tough.

Rockets getting past CP3 and Thunder in that fashion was great for mental grit and toughness.

No fear. Rockets can take them all....

Rockets would beat either one, that’s not even an issue

the biggest obstacle is the Clippers and possible ref fckery against the Lakers

I was shocked at the fouls they were actually calling in Harden’s favor...we see things constantly not get called, blocks be charges, etc

Harden had a regular season whistle in game 1, or the same whistle every other star or superstar gets in the playoffs

I think they are both the 'worst" match ups for a Small ball Rockets team.

Having said that, I think Boston is a worse match up, because they have more guys who can isolate consistently. While they are not generally as good shooters as the Heat, their Big 3 each has a bigger ceiling to take over a game than the Heat, who only have Butler.

Boston has multiple long athletic wings to slow Westbrook and Harden. The Heat only have 1 above average perimeter defender in Butler and he can't cover Harden/Westbrook all game.

Also, Boston is a more athletic, better coached OKC. They just have to prove they can be as clutch as OKC was for most of the year.

Heat are also very well coached, but I think they have to play their style. The Heat are all about the 3 pointer with in a sort of a weird motion offense rather than the Rockets isolation. The Rockets will have to consider some tweaks to the switch everything strategy. But if the Heat go cold at any point, they are cooked because of their action and dribble drive is derived from the threat of the 3 ball.

Ever since the feeling of the Rockets almost losing to CP3 and OKC in the first round and my Rockets fandom circling the drain.. I'm not even worried about anything anymore. Jinxes don't even matter. I have never been so happy to be watching Rockets basketball.

    with that said, Chill out.

Yea dont let one game get your hopes way high, but hey i hear ya.

I could also picture a scenario where the rocket get to the finals vs Heat and Jimmy Butler denies the rockets a ring. That would be way shitty bro. Tom ball curse would have a really f up city name then. Dragic being a old rocket as well.

Miamis zone defense is tough. Boston has so much talent at guard and wings they remind of the clippers a bit.

Im not ready to pick between them yet.

Beat Celtics. We need to payback from the 80s. I kind of want to play the Heat, I think lettuce head may play secret agent.

IF we make it to the finals.. we will have beaten the 2 best teams already. Let’s focus on getting there first..

That said Celtics top end talent is much higher than Miami and we match up way better against heat.

    raptors would be ideal

Lakers series has been reffed much better than round 1 so far. Have a bad feeling refs **** us against the clippers. They have been getting favorable calls every game of the playoffs so far.

Kawhi is the guy everyone wants to proclaim king now that bron is older and Giannis has been exposed.

The Raptors are not dead yet. They are a lot better team than they have shown so I expect that series to go long. Clippers are the toughest test for us. We need to be serious against the Lakers and put them down. Clippers may sweep the pretender Nuggets. Never had any respect for that team. Thunder and Jazz and Mavericks were frankly better.
