Well, yes and no. He's had a sorry roster, but I remember him driving us crazy in Houston. I just don't think he's got the mojo as an NBA coach. Either way, it'd be difficult to hear those chants.

That's what happens to me when I teach. Very difficult.

I don't feel bad about the "fire Chaney chants" coming from the Knicks fans because even the coach said he deserved it.

I do feel bad about him being fired by Isiah Thomas this weekend.

Especially that SF / Rudyball offense against that non existant Knicks effort and crap zone. Don't get me wrong, that was great, and I AGREE WITH JVG, he had nothing to do with it. Thanks SF!

Rudy T replaced Chaney as the Rockets coach, so I guess there's a connection....

Perhaps it's a regional/cultural type thing, but personally I couldn't do it. I know the tickets are expensive, I know the Knicks have been bad, and perhaps a change is needed but IMO the chant shows an acute lack of class.

Any chance of Rudy replacing Chaney again?

I always hate it when my co-workers are chanting over the cubes: "Fire ******, Fire ******".
