BLM and the protests are nothing more than a racial pity party, stirred up by politically minded groups for their own personal gain.

 

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Prager U. The facts and logic are extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of the Federalist Papers most of the salient points will go over a typical liberal's head. There's also Dennis' "classical liberal" outlook, which is deftly woven into his conservatism- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Tolkien literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these rebuttals to commonly-held beliefs, to realize that they're not just witty- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Prager U truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Ben Shapiro's existential catchphrase "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dennis Prager's genius wit unfolds itself on their laptop screens. What fools.. how I pity them.

Isn't "victimhood" in this case premised on African Americans being descended from people who were enslaved and discriminated against for multiple generations? African immigrants certainly can also face racism, but they wouldn't be "victims" in the same sense.

 

Can you tell me how many Americans on their free time without a college setting read really dry and dense reading material for 4 years while writing 20 page analytical papers analyzing what they read?

The 60% graduation rate would possibly suggest that at the very least 40% don't read the material.

Their time and money would likely be spent better elsewhere. You don't need to spend 5+ years on degrees to be educated.

You don't need a degree to be educated but it certainly is one of the best ways still and is one of the best ways for employers to judge the work ethic and competence of young people with no relevant work experience (you have to start somewhere).

I never said everyone benefits from a degree. Some skate through and some don't even complete it. Those who do and put effort in it came out as more knowledgeable humans with increased intelligence.
