    Remember when adidas welcomed James Harden to the brand by dropping off truckloads of sneakers at his house? It did the same for some of its Twitter followers, although the trucks were much smaller this time around.

    Complex spotted users on social media who received packages of miniature adidas trucks, free sneakers and autographed Harden jerseys from the brand.

    It's unclear how the people who got these shipments earned them. Some thirsty folks on Twitter have been trying to get in touch with adidas to figure out how to get their own, but their questions have so far gone unanswered.

    Hi. Adidaswomen reached out to me on Instagram and said they wanted to send me stuff for my collection, asked for my shoe size and home address.

    I told some friends and we were joking about them sending an actual Adidas truck to my house, just like James Harden. So it was really funny when I opened the box the size of a child to find a miniature truck. I figured they were going to send me a bunch of Rockets women's apparel I'd never wear (I don't often wear women's sports apparel), but instead they sent me red shoes I can definitely wear to a game, autographed Harden swingman jersey, and a pretty generous sum Adidas gift card (which I believe I can use at the Rockets shop since it's run by Adidas.)

    When I took a look at who they retweeted on Twitter the other week, it looks like each sub Adidas account picked out someone to give stuff too. Adidasbasketball, adidasrunning, adidasclassic, and adidaswomen. Maybe there were others, I hadn't checked since the day I got my box. The other recipients seemed like Adidas super fans/athletes who either collected or used Adidas in their sports and were vocal about it, (so even non Rockets fans were receiving a Harden jersey). They chose me for my "influence in the Rockets community." The basketball player got a pair of Harden's all star shoes. Others got running or classics. I was surprised to find my shoes were actually a men's 7, which I wear most of the time, not a women's shoe, which I figured it would be since adidaswomen was behind it.

    Pretty cool. Definitely built my brand loyalty up. haha Now I've got friends calling me out whenever I wear something Nike in public, like James Harden after his contract.
