do any of you know the name of the song/music that plays in the background of the highlight clip they show about 2 minutes before tipoff? or better yet if that video is posted anywhere online. thanks in advance.
i think that's the music they play for the player introductions. i'm talking about the one that sounds like it would be from gladiator or something. You know, the music that's playing while they're showing highlights of our championship years and then transitions into our current teams.
He's not talking about the player introductions, but the highlight reel that starts 5 minutes or so before the game. And I'm almost positive that the music is from The Rock..if not that then another Bruckheimer movie.
This is a good question. I go to every game and always find myself zoning in on the video, but have never even thought about what song it is. I think the video was originally made for last season, for the Rockets 40th anniversary. I'm glad they retained it tho - I get so fired up when the video breaks to David Stern announcing Yao as the first pick.
yea the song you're talking about from the rock is called "rocket away" and that's not the song. kinda ironic though huh, the name of the song. rocket away.

No problem. They did an unbelieveable job with that video, I hope they keep playing it throughout the years. I always try and make it to my seats in time to catch it.
