Why isnt anybody talking about what's happening in harris county right now? Ken paxton refuses to give the county clerk guidance on whether the drive-thru polling is legal or not because the way they have interrupted the statue it should be 100% legal. Afterward, the 5th circuit said that signatures have to match on ballots even for disabled citizens from years ago. Its pretty difficult for a disabled person to maintain the exact signature years later. Seems like a **** storm brewing.
Because they don’t want clarity. They want the ability to throw out votes on election night. A clear ruling now gives voters and the counties time to turn in votes correctly. I think that’s pretty obvious in this case what he’s doing. Texas Republicans are the absolute worst offenders of anti democratic corruption and electioneering.
obviously they don't want clarity that was the point of my post. The clerk has repeatedly asked for clarity and has shown everything they have done to comply with how they interrupt the statue. Theres no way the GOP allow Texas to ever turn blue. They will contest all the mail-in votes as well now that they have the 5th circuits ruling to back them up. I was really against court-packing before but seeing how crooked our federal judicial system is shocking.
