$$$$$$ and fame is all he cares about, doesn't want to share the spotlight.

Neymar joining CP3 and Harden would be the GOAT flopping team, Ginobili would probably come out of retirement to join.

He might be in the theater business, creating plays and singing Battioke with Battier.

Dun forget his Table Tennis super tournament.

I dunno if he'll kill it in England. Those mid table defenders will kick the living hell out of him and the refs won't buy into his diving and flopping around. His skill set is probably better off in a less physical league.

He wouldn't be able to cope with a Wednesday night at Stoke. :)

Can some explain the transfer fee system to me? Is PSG going to pay Barcelone 220 million euros on top of what ever they pay Neymar. In other words, are they going to pay around 100 million euros a year between transfer fee and salary over the next 5 years for Neymar?

Love what City did this offseason, LB & RB are so important in Pep's system, also once Sanchez is on board I think they sell Aguero who is not the best fit. I'm betting on these guys potentially winning the Champions League!! Still hoping they sign one more CB though, only thing missing.

Winning CL is a stretch now, shouldn't they win the EPL first under Pep?

I was just about to say the same thing.
The PL is looking tough enough that I wouldn't be so sure it'll be smooth sailing for City and Pep in it this season.

That's mostly how it works, yes. The officially named transfer fee doesn't include salaries.
In case of Neymar, it would be around 220mil just for the transfer and then an additional rumored 30mil/year salary. So the overall financial package for PSG over five years is ~370mil.

Depends on the transfer agreements, the sum can be split over years or paid at once. Paying the whole sum is the more usual way, as clubs want to see an immediate return. This sum is then split into the annual proportion and amortized at the end of each year.

Media saying Neymar will meet PSG officials tomorrow and likely undergo a medical, could be presented as a PSG player as early as Wednesday.

But I heard Portland is aggressively pursuing as well and could swap Meyers Leonard for him.

Yup, as good as official unless an exodus of Brazilian players.

    Chelsea onto Renato Sanches.

Aren't salaries net in Europe? Wouldn't 30 million a year means the club is paying 60 million because they are covering the taxes?

Technically yes, although the mentioned salary number (net or before taxes) is different in many leagues.
In case of France, PSG will indeed pay 60+mil annually.

Ancelotti today said Sanches will stay until the end of the transfer period. Should mean he'll play for us this season and won't be moved, but you never know with Ancelotti's English.
