Well, Memphis did almost lose at home to the Nuggets a couple weeks ago despite Denver resting 3 or 4 starters. So anything's possible.

But I'm gonna be PO'd if Cousins rests tonight in order to play us on Wednesday. The Kings also rested him a few weeks ago when the Clippers played in Sacramento and LA won a close game. It's almost like George Karl is trying to screw us by helping out the teams right behind us in the standings.

One thing to remember. The Rockets technically still control their own destiny for the 2nd seed. Not that I expect them to win all their remaining division games(at least not the one at San Antonio), but just thought I'd mention that.

The Spurs are unpredictable. They could lose in the first round or go all the way. The problem is you don't know which version you're getting. At least with the Mavs and Blazers, you pretty much know what you're up against.

I don't even care who we play any more.

I just want the 2 seed it gives Harden the best chance at MVP and it means HCA in the first matchup (and 2nd if they make it) so I don't care.

If you are going to be a championship team you are going to have to beat great teams. If the Rockets beat the Spurs in 7 games that's a ton of confidence going forward into the 2nd round any ways.

Why the **** is a horrible team resting its best player? What are you resting Cousins for? That makes absolutely no sense.

It's really very annoying. At least this might help for Wednesday:

Rudy Gay likely out at least a week as he goes thru NBA concussion protocol after taking elbow to head from Gasol in Monday loss to Memphis
— Michael Wallace (@WallaceNBA_ESPN) March 31, 2015

Ah... well, this is pretty awesome:

Stick a fork in my fantasy championship hopes, tho.

ETA: This has really boosted my mood. Sorry that Boogie & Rudy are banged up -- but if anybody deserves a bit of a lucky break, it's us. I feel muuuuch better about the rest of the week if we're going up against Casspi and Jason Thompson on Wednesday.

No kidding. Not that we can't win against their full squad, but with Dallas on deck the next night, it wouldn't hurt to have that one put away early in the 4th. And BTW, if the Mavs wanna rest Monta on Thursday to let the calf heal a little longer, that's fine with me too.

I told y'all not to get too excited lol.

The 2 seed was fun the 24 hours while it lasted smh.

Tough stretch coming up, if we want the 2 seed we will most likely need to win at least two of the three tough road games coming up (and take care of business at home against SAC of course).

The two seed is definitely not the most important . If you legitimately believe that this team is a championship contender then it should be good enough to beat the 6 or 7 seed . The most important thing by far is going into the playoffs with rested and healthy players . How the team is playing is also more important .
