If the Rockets landed CJ McCollum and a piece/pick, I'd be intrigued...

They can't even utilize McCollum that well anyways since Mo Williams has played very well.

Asik had turned into a little whiny baby. He claims to be injured when all medical tests come back normal. He's not injured, he's just made up his mind not to play until he gets traded.

Because his injury is healed. His knee keeps swelling when he ramps up his effort in practice. Doctors don't know what's causing the swelling.

So there really isn't a timetable. It's just whenever his knee stops swelling when he practices hard.

Wow, so the healing of Patrick Beverly's hand and Omer Asik's, uh, thigh?, are interconnected. Like when women live together and wind up getting their period at the same time.

Except Bev is a warrior and Omer is a pouter whose situation could have been avoided except we probably held onto him hoping for LaMarcus Aldridge to shake loose (guess that won't happen).

I don't understand this, is his injury really taking that much time to heal? Where's the expected "good to go" date?

From reports, there is swelling that has not gone down even though the suspected cause has been healed. He won't be able to play until swelling goes down and they don't know why it hasn't.

If you believe the conspiracy theorists, he is pouting and instead of taking disciplinarian actions against him, the Rockets are creating a fake injury.

As the knee injury is a much more significant red flag than a talented player pouting about being behind a more talented player, I suspect the knee injury is legit.

I wish he was just pouting like Motiejunas.

At least Motiejunas comes to play and takes whatever minutes he can get.

Are you serious?! I was one of the people who thought he was using injuries as an excuse to force his will.

Look, I don't want to be one of the tin-foil hat-wearing dudes, and Omer probably does have some kind of injury to his thigh / knee / whatever; but let's not pretend all medical reports are completely legit.

They've got Omer Asik in a bunker somewhere and no one can get to him. It's like he's in witness protection.

Too bad Morey didn't trade him in the off-season. It would have been good for both Rockets and Omer.
