I'm just curious if this team doesn't make a big splash this offseason or during the season, how many fans will still follow the team? I know once Yao and T-Mac went out in 05-06, many folks stop watching the team. I still think this team could be very fun to watch and I think if you're a true fan, you'll support this team.

With that said, it might be best that the Rockets do wait till 2010 and not make any major moves. Why hurt the team even more with stupid trades? Not to point out the AK-47 for T-Mac....

They'll have money to play with even with Ariza signed and there's a chance Yao could still come back in 2010-2011. They will still need to sign a Center like Oberto or Wilcox.

I think that deal was more of 'we get yalls unprotected first from the knicks and take AK's horrible contract off your hands, and we give you this expiring'. Plus another person from the j*zz.

I was on the outside when you said
    You said you needed me
    I was looking at myself
I was blind, I could not see

A boy tries hard to be a man
His mother takes him by his hand
If he stops to think he starts to cry
    Oh why

    If you walkaway, walkaway
    I walkaway, walkaway...I will follow

    If you walkaway, walkaway
    I walkaway, walkaway...I will follow

    I was on the inside
When they pulled the four walls down
I was looking through the window
I was lost, I am found

    Walkaway, walkaway
    I walkaway, walkaway...I will follow
    If you walkaway, walkaway,
    I walkaway, walkaway...I will follow
    I will follow
    Your eyes make a circle
I see you when I go in there
    Your eyes, your eyes...

    If you walkaway, walkaway
    I walkaway, walkaway..I will follow

    If you walkaway, walkaway
    I walkaway, walkaway...I will follow

    I will follow
    I will follow...

Not true. I consider myself a real fan, but I'm probably not gonna watch as many game next season than I did this year.

Although that has more to do with the fact that i'm living in France, and games start at 2 to 3 a.m

This year I could watch them, cuz I was still in college. Next year I'll be working and I doubt my boss accepts "i was watching a rockets game" as an excuse for not working on some mornings. :p

I believe the best move the Rockets can make is a non move for 2009. The rockets should just let McGrady and Yao's contract run out in 2010 and then become a major player in the 2010 free agency market. The team can make a couple of small and inexpensive moves this year. There is no point in making a move for Amare right now, because unless they are planning on extending him pass the 2010 year it doesnt make sense. The team will still be competitive becuase they have a lot of good hustle players. I think Morey is doing the right thing by not going for these old players that are passed their prime (EX: Rasheed Wallace).
