    Theo Ratliff for backup center?

I would love him on our team. I thought he was cheated in Philly when he got traded for old man Mnt. Mutumbo. If we could trade Mo Taylor + TE for him and Stoudamire, that'd be awesome. Dickau would be nice as well.

    a few problems here:

    1) That's a terrible deal for Portland,

    2) It doesn't come close to working capwise

    3) Dickau was traded to Golden State last week.

    You can say that again.

I don't want to certify this thread r****ded but common LooneyToon ........give us a reason why Portland would do this trade. Wiesbrod or whatever his name is still in charge in Orlando.

Dale Davis is already gone to G.S. They wouldn't have a center left.

Yeah, Portland's not letting him go. But while we're dreamcasting, can Ratliff play PF? If so, a Yao, Ratliff, Howard three-man rotation would be sweet.

4.) you can't trade the T.E. with a player (Taylor in this case)

6.) Portland still got Randolph and S.A.R. and that already caused them alot of problem.

7.) who'd be their starting center for next season?

I'd love to see Ratliff play the 4 alongside Yao though. maybe you should ask "anyway we could get Ratliff next summer as a FA?"

    still, probably not:D

Theo Ratliff is good. But I think we should aim high. What about Tim Duncan? He can start at PF and slide to C when Yao needs a rest. What do you guys think?

I don't think we can get him for just Mo T and the TE, we might have to throw in Boki....;)

No. Boki has potential, Duncan doesn't.

No no way jose. Boki is untouchable. If San Antonio insists on including the mercurial Boki in the deal then no deal.....they can have Duncan for all I care. Seriously.
