That would be all right with me, but I hope Rivers would pick up his player option in this case. I would also like to retain Jeff Green with the veteran minimum. A healthy Gerald Green could come in for Ben Mac. Troy Williams could be an additional shooter too.

All prayers answered at one time. The only team that’s not happy is Pacers. For this return I throw in a FRP, I think ORL may as well. BOS, too. This has the framework to help out a lot of teams.

I tend to agree with him .... this team has a lot of potential but is missing that versatile big man.

    Perfect fit - Kelly Olynik.

Christian Wood is the best potential MLE fit on the free agency market going forward and it's not remotely close. He has star potential and has the size to play the 5 full time, while being quicker than most fives and all the while fixing our height disadvantage (6-10, 7-3 wingspan). The fact that he is potentially going to be available for $9 M annually is the bizarro Ryan Anderson signing.

25 Years old, entering his prime. If he performs like he showed last year in the second half for a full season he is a player worth $25M. His weaknesses are things that will go away with more playing time in full speed games. If I was Detroit I'd offer him whatever it took to make him stay. I figured he would get $17-$20 M now but the economy is going to suppress his value.

I agree too. The missing piece is for Tillman to sell the team to Elon Musk.

No thanks. We don’t need an injured Klay as a substitute.

Morey let him go to the Pistons for free. He was shining for the Pelicans, but he wasn’t picked up.

I wish we somehow had the assets to have both, but the reality is you have to give to get, and the deal has to make as much sense for the other team as ours.

EG is a considerably negative asset, Im not even sure our last trade-able 1st (which we REALLY shouldn’t trade) makes him neutral. Any idea that turns him into a desirable player like AG or Turner is some serious homerism, House and Mac don’t make up for that value.

How I see our trade pieces are

    RoCo - late lotto value
    Rockets 2022 1st
    House - late 1st or early 2nd
    Tucker - late 1st or early 2nd
    Rockets future 2nd
    Mac - mid 2nd

EG - negative mid 1st or late lotto

If Turner is worth a late lotto, what combo gets Indy that value, THEN just as important, what are Indys needs, why are they trading Turner and what’s their goal in a trade?

From my view, Indys goal when moving Turner should be to put a good defensive 4 next to Sabonis who is mediocre defender at the 5. We have PJ and RoCo to offer for that need, but PJ is too old for Indys core and doesn’t have nearly enough value alone to land Turner. This leaves us with only one option, a RoCo swap if we want Turner - IMO.

Honestly I'd rather have Wood over Turner.

Turner is good but not losing RoCo good.

And acquiring Wood should not cost us RoCo, just more LT than Tilly is comfortable with.

He was also on the Bucks. Played for 3 teams after Rockets let him go.

I was a Wood advocate too but there was no guarantee he would pan out or how long it would take for him to get it.

    Wood still developing, inconsistent defense.

I really want to see what Silas can do for Bruno, he is just as talented as Wood, if not more upside.

I’d actually be down for something like this:

Rockets receive Al Horford and Matisse Thybule

76ers receive P.J. Tucker, Eric Gordon, Austin Rivers, Chris Clemons

Any trade with Tilman taking back money, is highly unlikely. He’s going to send out more money than he takes in.
