In my lifetime, no body on the right or left concerned me. I may disagree with their policies but I never ever was concern they would destroy the nation or the government. Heck I voted for Bush (regret afterward). Cruz, who I think is a true slim ball with low ethical standard, doesn’t even concern me. One single person does. I know I’m not alone.

Im not going to argue about private companies (I’m not disagreeing that social media shouldn’t be considered as platform). There is a huge difference between private companies and gov. People have pocket power over them. Gov has the power to regulate them. Private companies do not have that power over the people. Gov does. An immoral company is no where as dangerous or have widespread lasting negative impact as an immoral gov. He outright said it multiple times. He used his money to suppress voices. He require gov workers he work with to sign NDA to protect him. He retaliate against Vindman for doing his job. He blatantly lies every day. So on. He said it and he’s done it. You maybe rejecting that he would do more of if he has the time and power to. You will have to ignore past and current behaviors as prediction of future behavior. That’s not a gamble I would take, not when the morality of gov and the people freedom are at stake.
If they don’t do that and there is a challenge and the SC ruled to not count them, it would be holy hell of a mess to figure out what came in after 8pm. More challenges on what should be counted and what shouldn’t and who knows what the court would rule (well we do know it would likely be in favor of the GOP). Yes it’s not normal and it’s ridiculous that a court could throw out ballots that came in late because of infrastructure issue and not because voter didn’t cast them in time, but that is the reality.
