I'm looking at espn.com and the only article that covers this is one written by Passan that only mentions the positive COVID test in passing and spends the rest of the article fellating him. At any rate, I have high confidence that this will disappear from ESPN's front page by week's end.
Not if its revealed that more players test positive... or contact tracing indicating his presence at the post-game celebration plays a role. The headline for this was above the recap story for the game. This is news... sure, may go away like most news goes away, but none of the news outlets have tried to sweep this under the rug.
The only two posts on the mobile home page about the Dodgers are about COVID. There’s that article and the video with the headline “Turner celebrating with COVID with teammates”. I mean what more do you want...there isn’t a single article talking about the fact they finally won a WS, Kershaw finally not choking, etc. Point being if Turner didn’t do that ESPNs main page would be talking about how the Astros robbed them of a dynasty.
Yeah I’m not sure what more he’s looking for here. The fact there’s no articles on the ESPN Home page right now talking about how amazing the Dodgers are and how we’re assholes should be a win for us. I hate to say this but they’re all whiners and their idiots for letting him back on the field in the first place so I hope it spreads through that team...that will get the media off our asses and on to them which is hilariously ironic to me.
