Rockets head coach interview questions... How do you feel about tweeting another country. How do you feel about restaurant gift cards.
How do you feel about a low base salary supplemented with fans tipping you for your service as they leave the arena?
That is a good reason. Again I wasn't saying they should take their time just wondering why we need to rush. Thanks for providing a good reason
Now that Morey has completely severed his ties to us. Maybe we’ll hire a coach sooner than November 1
If you're JVG, you now have to decide: go to Philly as unpaid intern assistant coach, or go to Houston as head coach for several million but work for Ferttita. It's tough. Not sure what I would do if I were him.
I have to think it's going to be Silas now. JVG isn't going to want to climb into the dumpster fire. Silas, on the other hand, would still want to enter the HC ranks. Even after things fall apart here, he'd be in discussions for future HC openings.
So every team besides the Thunder and the Rockets have filled their coaching vacancies. Morey left and found a new job. The Jazz sold their team. The MLB playoffs have started and finished. Tilman still hasn't paid a coach.
These days, Tilman is way more concerned with how he's going to pay back nearly half a billion in short-term loans he secured to keep his businesses afloat. I fully expect him to sell 49% of the Rockets to someone. He'll keep controlling interest, but he needs that $1B he can get by selling half the team.
I know for sure Morey will enjoy a packed arena in Philly (obv when covid over) local rockets fans lost a lot of the passion after the 2018 Cp3 injury. We’d have empty arenas for a lot of games. Philly has one of the best. Crowds in the league. Morey will definitely enjoy that
