God I hate when people don't understand the difference between dominate and dominant. Also, where is the Isaiah Hartenstein interview?
Terrible reporter. The Rockets aren't in "rebuilding phases every year" and nobody with any credibility thinks they're considering "blowing it up." Geezus, do at least a little homework before interviewing someone.
So you would say 'you are bias' against that? At least they got a very flattering thumbnail for the video....
Gordon accepted this interview after the reporter slid in his DM at 4 am. Gordon loves his snow bunnies haha.
That "reporter" just seems unintelligent and primitive. Eric looks different, is it just the hair? He talks a good talk and all, but when will people just take responsibility and say something like "I shot terrible percentages last year, I need to get better"?
Gee another player who doesn’t think small ball is sustainable in the playoffs. Will clutchfans ridicule him like Rivers?
Not necessarily rebuilding every season the last 4 years but the team has had different core personnel around Harden AND tweaked their system every year that MDA coached the Rockets. MDA Rockets tenure 2016-2017: Harden as PG leads NBA in assists; core players included Bev, Lou, Trez, Dekker 2017-2018: Harden paired w/CP3 in PnR heavy scheme - taking turns running offense; switch everything D adopted 2018-2019: Harden loses key defensive players & leaders in Ariza & LMaM; CP3, EGo & Capela injured most of season - offensive system becomes more Iso heavy 2019-2020: Harden paired w/Westbrook (traded for CP3); adopted small ball mid season w/trading Capela for Covington; Rockets also return to switch everything defense same as 2017-2018
Eric had one of his worse years since he was not getting touches off the bench for NO. But to say the least they extended his contract, and he probably just coasted. Gordon is a good player, but I think you talk about match ups? He coming out with this because he knows he could easily get replaced, as Houston only tradeable asset. Indiana could utilize him better as a 3rd option than Houston, i see his scoring avg rise if he went there. Plus going back to his hometown area. if you pull a trade for Gordon, House, and Tucker for Myles Turner, Jeremy Lamb, and McDermott. It would hurt to lose Gordon, and Tucker but rockets need a Center, also this trade saves rockets 7m in cap. Rockets get younger in this trade. I don't know if rockets really want to anty up on big contract for Aging Tucker who will be eyeing a extension. I also Like signing Aaron Baynes to replace Tucker as he has had success holding down players like Anthony Davis down low.. Rockets need some big men, who can rebound and space the floor.
Idk why he would say "of course small ball worked during the regular season" because it really didn't, the team got marginally worse but it was basically the same.
